Featuring members of previous TMR tips WALL, NYC's Public Practice are gearing up to release their debut album Gentle Grip via on-the-pulse Brooklyn label Wharf Cat Records. Today the quartet have revealed a disco-inspired video for new single 'My Head'. Channelling danceable vibes from Blondie to Talking Heads and Chic, the colourful accompanying clip is a tasteful take on an Austin Powers meets James Bond. Springy upstrokes on a clean-toned electric guitar cut through the gaps in a classic boots & cats drum beat whilst a subtle layer of Quincy Jones-esque percussion adds movement to the mix in all the right spots. Gentle Grip will arrive digitally on the 15th of May with a physical release to follow on the 26th of June. -Holly Mullineaux
